Since I was only 4 years old the last time Alabama was in the big dance this is a whole new experience for me. I can't get a feel for this game and honestly I don't want to think about it anymore. There have been 6 MNCs during my lifetime...although I was too young to remember '64 &'65 (being born in '62), I cried in '73 and revelled in '78,'79, &'92. But I have never been so proud of a team this year and excited about a bowl game. I am nervous but confident...in other words, situation normal. Let's do it, bring home #13...RTR

The game can't get here soon enough. Went to sleep nervous last night and woke up nervous today. Ready to watch the Tide roll in Pasadena. I was 4 years old when we beat the Hurricanes for our last NC. The only memories of the game I have is from repeatedly watching the game over and over as I have gotten older. I am ready to watch a NC game as it happens and have memories of it to last me a life time. Roll Tide :BigA:

The first national championship I remember was in 1961. I had just entered the army and there were a large group of football fans from up north in my unit. Man, was I bursting with pride! I have loved every championship since. It is so wonderful to be playing for the national championship again!
