I think most Bama fans would agree that the SEC CG was our best game of the year. What do UT fans consider as their best game for the year?

Also, what would you consider you best offensive performance, and best defensive performance?

For us, it would have to be the Florida game for both, but the first half of the Ole Miss game might have been the best defense we have played all year, IMO.
We have been notoriously slow starting in a lot of games this year.

I believe our defense overall in the Nebraska game was a great performance. Granted, the Bugeaters offense is poor, but to hold a team to 106 yards for the game is mighty salty. On this note, we held OU to MINUS 16 yards rushing.. their second lowest total in their history.

As for the offense, look at Colt's numbers before the Ou game (October 17) vs. afterwards. After Ou. Colt kicked it into a higher gear.. which unfortunately did not show against Nebraska.

Road games against Missouri and Oklahoma State (whom many of us call Okie Lite) were showcases for the offense.

I personally believe that if NU had and offense that kept them off the field they would be the number one defense in the NCAA.

Face it, by the time the 4th quarter rolls around they are getting worn down.

Just my .02¢....
Their starters are that good, but they just don't have the depth. Give Pelini a few more years and they will be there...

How frustrating is it living in NY? I can't imagine leaving Texas to go live in NY. Maybe St. Thomas or some nice island.... just nothing north of the Mason Dixon. ;)
When I made that move, I moved from Alabama to Long Island. I moved from Texas to Alabama (with stops in CA and TN) as a child.

I spent about 15 years working in Manhattan. The move to NY from AL was like moving to a different country, so different were the cultures. I moved my family to the Delaware Water Gap area in western NJ about 5 years ago to get away from that culture. The town that I live in now has more horses than people...

If I had to move from Bama Texas would be in my top 3. Had a lot of friends move out there for jobs.

Agreed 100%! It's a whole 'nother world up there. Plus, this fat white boy sweats better than I shiver!:)

I agree. You can cool down pretty quick but warming up seems to take forever.

Of course you have colder winters than we have in Austin.

I really don't think Suh is overhyped. He's mashed OU who really isn't as bad as their record indicates. Except for Tech (who owed them a drubbing) all those other losses were by very few points.

Look at it this way, you saw how bad Nebraska's offense was and yet they made it to within one second of the big 12 championship.
