Maybe they've decided to join forces against us, and have run off to Massachussetts to get married.

lmao. haha funny stuff. I have evolved past arguing with one run on sentence after another, the text of which rarely has anythng to do with the subject matter.
Evolution was exausted. He doesnt believe in God so moral issues are a waste of time.
I have no clue what he thinks of economics. All I would get would be a graph from some bizzare website anyway.
Actually I am having fun reading all of yalls comments. Makes me laugh. Makes me wonder, am I too conservative? Should I moderate... nah!

Nothing wrong with a good debate from all comers! Especially between those who firmly believe what they believe and generally know why they believe it.

It's what made us such a unique country over the last 200+ yrs.

The only thing I dislike is the way debates turn personal very quickly. I can agree to disagree on any number of issues, but despise condescension.

So, as long as we debate the issues and not our personal intelligence, I'm all for debate! :)

I'm going to have disagree. I think our personal intelligence is vastly overrated, and that most of us are the stupidest pinataheads in all creation. Especially (point, point) that guy who disagreed with me in that other thread, what a moron! :biggrin2:

There's no debate on personal intelligence. Mine is analogous to the sun and the remainder are as the Oort cloud, orbiting and admiring the unequalled brightness from afar. Occasionally an inferior intelligence races in to test me, but they quickly retreat to return to the vast emptiness beyond Neptune. ;)

That can't be right. My 4 year old daughter told me that I am a genius.

very insightful. so you have to believe in god to have morals? wow. i guess humans need an omnipotent authority to instruct them how to live via stone tablet via israelite via hebrew bible via translation via translation via translation. i guess they need the supreme incentive and disincentive of heaven and hell to make the omnipotent authority's instructions worth following. if left to their own devices they'd spiral into anarchy. it doesn't say much for the people in your life, bake, that you have such a pathetic and abject vision of humanity.

That hasnt stopped you from posting on other topics you are clueless about. As for the website it requires wisdom to understand and that comes from God as well. You should get to know him.

Tell me how, with out an objective standard can one arrive at what is moral. Dont tell me because I know, you must think morality is relative.

Well the only people in my life that you have ever come in contact with were my brother kilvols, and my sister in law beccabama both of whom totally embarrassed you and diminished your silly faith in evolution. They left of course when your foul spirit and mouth saw the first thread locked and the second one abandoned while you muttered some incoherent baloney.
Actually my life is one of total peace and certainty. I live by faith not by sight. One cannot please God without faith.

most people have what's called a conscience. even dogs know when they're doing something wrong. further, if you're really looking for an 'objective standard,' the bible certainly doesn't pass muster, as two or three billion people have either never so much as seen one or have been brought up in another religious tradition. if you want objective, you have to look at what every culture and tradition considers wrong and right. even then you'll have trouble claiming objectivity unless you exclude as outliers folks like gacy, manson, dahmer, catholic priests, etc. another issue you'll run into is something like adultery that people may overtly denounce as bad, but covertly take part in--is your morality what you say or what you do? it's a tricky issue , and i can't say it's entirely relative, but it's certanly not writ in stone.

ah yes, illvo and cabam, the vanguished. what can i say about your beloveds that hasn't already been said about afghanistan? they left tf all bombed out and depleted. their trouble, same as yours, is you don;t have enough faith in your god. if you have to look to answersingenesis.com, you must not have found the 'answers' in genesis yourselves. if you have to run to quack scientists to confront evolution, you must feel your dogma alone is inadequate for such a confrontation. kindly send illvo and cabam my love.

Now you have a conscience huh? Like a dog huh? Well I know where this faulty logic will lead. Forget it.

They will know you by your furits, the good book says.

And this proves two things, your sheer ignorace of the volume of information on creation science and the fact that you either dont read or cant comprehend
a post that is made to you. In fact a great deal of time was spent proving the Bibles inerrancy. The discussion of what a day means in Genesis comes to mind as one of the many. Besides you dont, sadly, even understand a faith past your own religion of humanism. It is really sad to me.
