Bama Game Thread: Official Game Thread - 1st Half Bama vs. Mercer, 1:00 CST, SEC Network...

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

I agree, but he also threw that pass from his toes. The pass to Bernard was well thrown with power, and thrown while on the run.
He's so close to being healthy again, but you're right, his footwork is still a problem. I think part of his problem is that his arm is so strong. Those QBs get in the bad habit of doing it all with the arm. His shoulder injury turned out not to be what I was initially afraid of, which would have lasted the season. I was delighted to hear what I heard. The other injury, affecting his running, blew me away. I didn't expect what I heard, but it's almost well also. I'm sure the details will come out eventually, probably post-season. BTW, when I'm suspecting something, like when I posted about his shoulder initially, I try to make it clear I'm speculating, usually based on experience. When I state something flatly, then I'm at least 90% sure of what I'm saying and have one or more sources. That's true of all staff, in fact. Any fool should know we can't reveal how we know or have to "prove" it, or it's just a rumor. That in itself is foolish, if not downright stupid. Also, to say or infer that any other member is "not smart" will get a suspension every time...
