because they practiced for Alabama last week and not New Mexico State.

I think many of us felt that way about it. I believe they even had "Bama Practice" all season. It's Auburns only goal..

I was really hoping that our lackluster gameplans against certain teams - especially the Barn - had gone out the window with these new coordinator hires but it's painfully obvious that this particular problem is a top-down problem.

When you give an overmatched rival too much respect, you help to keep them in the game.

Make them prove they can beat you at your strengths and overcome their weaknesses before just assuming they'll be able to do it - even in a rivalry game in their house...
