They might give Sayin the Heisman for dropping sprinkles on cupcakes all year, but I wouldn’t trade our guy for anybody.

The Heisman committee should ask the NFL draft evaluators who should win it. One of every eight pro teams are being QB-ed by a Bama guy, and Ty is doing more with less than any of the rest of them did IMO. God help us for having him on campus for four years and on the field for only one.

That is largely what they said in early November 2016. I could understand that sentiment if the final score of the game had been something like 23-10. But…..

Same narrative in 2009 with VT. Granted that game was much closer but it wasn’t anything new. Happened a few other times in the Saban era

I’d like to see us bring a little more pressure on Nussmeier on these 2nd and 9, 3rd and 8 type downs. He’s been known to be a bit like Carson Beck under pressure. Way too much time on that last play.
