Somebody asked earlier what Saban sees in Golding. Maybe he sees a front 7 that can’t really play, regardless of who’s coaching them.

This is what I've been afraid of more than Golding. Golding doesn't teach tackling. Not the DC's job, but it's not getting done. And the lack of speed and skill is glaring. Golding is the easy straw man. I'm not sure he's the correct reason...

I think so. Inside linebacker play has struggled and we aren't getting pressure on the QB. Starting 4 true freshmen in the front 7 has made things very difficult. We can't exactly expect these coaches to be miracle workers.

Just weird to see the DL at Bama getting absolutely mashed nearly every down. It just has not happened in a long long time.

This has been a poor tackling team all year. Most of them don’t want to put a shoulder on the man, they want to arm tackle. We need tackles like Marlon Humphrey put on Fournette and put him on his rear end.
