I don't know the exact play calling, but that's one of the issues with the RPO and letting the QB do too much. They can just start trying to do it all. The running game not only keeps the Vandy defense honest, but it keeps Ty from feeling like he has to do it all. Even if we're talking a 3 or 4 yard run, it's can be the difference in third and long and third and manageable. It's not winning football to start playing the game like it's a two-minute drill. Ty just looks like he's trying to do too much right now.

My high school coach always said "all we need is 3.5 yds a rush. You get 3.5 on 3rd and 2.5 to go, we have a first down." Just walk it down the field guys.
