Every fan I have heard during the week has said something like, we are looking better on Offense now, we moved the ball on Georgia easily untill we got into the redzone
Vols lead 38-19 to start the 4th. Crompton 301 yards passing and 4 TDs. He has thrown one pick 6.
Earle, you feeling OK...That almost sounds like a compliment towards UT :tongue:
Seriously, thanks...As a credit to our coaching staff, JC has gotten better each game (WKU excluded)...We still don't have a chance against y'all, however I now feel much better about SC and Ole Miss
Yeah, I thought that UT would get smoked today! Wow- I bet the heat just might get turned up on Willie Martinez- I give him 2 days!
It was intended to be. I didn't think Crompton had that kind of performance in him. I'd really thought UT had hit a downward spiral, but I'm revising my opinion...
Georgia's defense (if you can call it one) is AWFUL!!! They made Crompton look like an all-american!

Richt has one of the same problems Fulmer had, and that's a stubborness to make changes and too much loyalty to his assistants...If he refuses to make change some changes, he's gonna be on a very hot seat...Georgia's defense (if you can call it one) is AWFUL!!! Congrats to the Vols, they lined up and beat the snot out of UGA. Richt's seat may have warmed slightly but Martinez and whoever coaches the secondary need to dust off their resumes.
So what happened here? Did UT step up for this game?
Did UGA come in unfocused? Was UGAs defense that pourous?
From a Tenn fan perspective, were ya'll expecting to win this game this easily?
I caught a blurb on College Football Final that UGA only scored 3 points on offense :eek2:
For the record, I much would have rather had UT beat Auburn than UGA, but thanks to Arky for fixing that

I didn't expect anything like that, I thought both teams would be in the 20s. Our offense looked like it did 10 years ago. It was explosive and I just felt good about it.So what happened here? Did UT step up for this game?

Yes, 3 points by their offense...they had 19 total...7 KO return, 7 int return, 2 safety. So, only 3 by their offense.
