It gets even worse if aTm beats Texas. It is possible for Alabama to get left out of everything if there are 6 SEC teams tied with 10-2 records. Not likely, but possible.

This is great for fans of other teams. Heck, even great for Alabama as the Tide would have been out of it weeks ago using last year's playoff format. But still lots of work to do.
Yeah the way this season has gone Texas 8&4 could win that one.

I’m not too worried about getting left out though since we’ll probably move up to #10 this week.

I think Miami, Indiana, and BYU could all lose.

Your scenario would need Ole Miss and 8&4 to leap frog us plus Keeping UGA ahead of us.

I think the only way we’d finish 10-2 and get left out is by making the SECCG and losing to drop to 10-3.

Interesting offensive strategy. The leading rusher was the quarterback with 185 yards. The tailback was the leading pass receiver with 5 catches for 50 yards. There were 48 carries for 311 yards and 12 pass receptions for 109 yards.

I'm sooooo proud of this team & especially our coaching staff, I love our attacking style "Swarm Defense" under Coach Wommack, once our players figured it & understood it concept, we're a better Defense as our players learned it..

Combine that with a HC & OC that isn't afraid to use Milroe's legs as an offensive weapons, this is as good as any team in the country & just as good as any Bama team we've had at Bama..

Ifffffff & this is a big if..If we don't let our feet off the gas & we keep our play calling aggressive like these past 2 games..

We will win another NC this year..Because right now we're playing like the absolute best team in the country..

It's been a wild ride in this transition year & I'm veryyyyy thankful for our coaching staff cause they're good..
Really? Any Bama team we've ever had? I think they have a long way to go to be that good.

I was rewatching the game this morning and a few observations:
  1. We had more penalties than an acceptable amount, but not killer ones.
  2. We really got a favorable call on Haynes’ goal line TD, but it probably wouldn’t have mattered.
  3. The Lawson interception was the play of the game. I don’t want to know how things would have played out had they scored there.
  4. The face mask a few plays later was the dagger.
  5. Given the weather and LSU’s weaknesses, the offensive strategy was perfect.
  6. We need to stop trying WR screens. I don’t think one has worked all year.

Just think how much worse it could have been if Milroe doesn't overthrow those 2 sure TD passes.

As far as the screen passes, maybe we stop having a guy that cannot block try to block?

I think Brian Kelly specializes in low class moves.
That whole damn trash throwing stuff was blown up by Kelly raising cane about the face mask call on Milroe (trying to say it was the “side of the helmet” . it wasn’t. It was a full fledged face mask).

Did anyone notice Kelly berating one of the assistant coaches/staff on the sidelines at the end. Not sure but it appeared to be Brad Davis the Oline coach?

We’ve seen Saban lose it during the heat of the game with Kiffin, Kirby and others. But at the end of a game that is clearly over? The look on this guy’s face was like “I’m about to squish you like a bug”.

A 17 year old, 170 lb Ryan Williams (did you know he is only 17 year old?) isn’t probably the best blocking match up out there, right? I’m not a big fan of those screens, but I get the idea. Try to stretch the defense laterally in the passing game, to free up stuff behind the corners and free up the ground game. But yeah, the execution lacks a bunch to be desired.

The wide receiver screen doesn't work because Ryan Williams can't or won't block.
