Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama @ OU

That’s true. I’d rather him be someone else’s problem to be honest. He’s not helping us at all and is actively hurting us.
The current "issue" is he's a "Bama problem." I won't disagree that he's been disappointing and dropped way too many balls.

But, my point is he's still getting some PT and we are still targeting him occasionally. So, if he's in the game use him in a way that can benefit us and hurt the other team.

The "problem" he is for other teams is that he's the kind of special talent with his speed that can flip a game with one play. One play that buys us 3 or even 7 could be huge.

He’s the most “risk-reward” type player I’ve seen in quite some time…It’s frustrating…but he’s testing our sanity. We keep trying the same thing hoping for a different result…

I’m not sure but I did see him signaling in plays to the secondary.
I think it was really bumping onto the guy in all-black that drew the official's ire (and the flag).
Coming on the heals of brushing up against the guy in the blue sweatshirt, he really ran into the guy in all-black and you could tell by the zeal with which the official threw the flag that he was angry.
Go to the 2:15 mark.

I still think it should have been our first sideline warning and not a penalty.

I agree, I just think the ref reacted in anger, to first brushing up against the guy in blue, and then hitting the guy in black so forcefully that it turned him around. It was the bang-bang nature that set him off.
