Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama @ OU

Count me in as a negative Nancy when we were down 17-0 early. I didn’t think a Deboer team had the fight in them to come back from that. I thought it was the SECCG game all over again, but worse. Then the early season Bama team showed up.
Same here. But I am quite happy to eat crow. I still think Grubb is a problem. But our guys fight and don’t quit, so DeBoer and staff get credit for resilience and finding a way. I’ll also give CKD credit for (mostly) not playing scared. The 4th down call took some stones at that point when no one would have blamed him for just taking 3 points and it turned the game.

It’s one thing to be frustrated and angry, it’s another thing to be wanting to burn the village down in the middle of the battle.
I'm probably one that was ready to burn down the village at the end of the first quarter. I will doubt no longer. I don't know what ours guys found out there, but I wish I could bottle it. What a turnaround. They definitely showed the true BAMA pluck and grit.

i am so happy we had a pick six, a shanked punt, a funbled punt, short shorts coming up just a bit short. wiped the smug grin of that creep venables' face
If you think about it, this game was the opposite of the game in Tuscaloosa. In this one OU won the time of possession, and moved the ball somewhat at will early on. But unlike Tuscaloosa, this time OU had the key turnover, plus missed a key FG. What a great win.

One of the interesting aspects of this is that a lot of Alabama's staff actually coached for Indiana (notably DeBoer and Womack) while Indiana's head coach actually coached for Alabama under Saban.

I think both parties are really going to be pumped for this game,
indiana coach won the title w Saban in Pasadena ... :)
