Bama Game Thread: Official PostGame Thread - Bama @ UGA...

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

They’ll just invent another one like they always do.
Can't get that one back now though.....finally played someone at home. You can get a big win streak at home when you don't play anyone....at home. Just like the other year when we ended their overall win streak....we end their streaks.......now DeBoer needs to go make some new Alabama winning streaks.

Our defense is good at stopping the run OR getting gashed for huge yardage, nothing in between.

Georgia had 131 yards on 4 carries... and 96 yards on the remaining 29 (3.3 ypc)

If we can figure out how to stop those huge chunk plays in the running game, we'd actually be good against the run.
Gap integrity and misalignment. Those speed plays need to be worked on.

First I just wanna say, I have been very critical of the ability of these coaches to actually properly prepare the team for games. But these guys tonight were probably the most focused and efficient I have seen under DeBoer, and probably not since maybe 2022 under Saban, or even 2020. Whether it was coaching or team leadership like Simpson, the guys came to play, were prepared, and gutted it out when it got tough, vs developing tiny heart syndrome.

Well done guys and keep it up the rest of the season!

Also, we still own Kirby hahahahaha.
