Well, down 3, going for it on 4th down is a head scratcher.
Kick the gimme FG, Kirby! Imagine the last 6 minutes of that game if it is tied at 24.
Thank goodness he did not, but man, what a bone-headed decision.
the only reason they were down there was we went for it on 4th down at midfield and didn’t make it.giving them great field position. And if our FG kicker hadn’t flubbed up so bad, they would be down by 6 . And if their receiver catches that pass they would have already scored. If we hadn’t gotten the penalty after 7 yards on first down, we probably keep the ball and possibly score a TD Instead of missing a FG.. So many ifs.the way Georgia was pounding the ball, seemed like a solid call at the time.

Did anyone rewatch the missed kick? They never showed a replay to see why it was so bad. Did he hit the ground, the holders hand? Was it tipped at the line? Did the holder mess up the hold?
i saw a behind angle that cut away as soon as he made contact. i thought he had to have slipped, but from what I saw, the hold was good , he just missed the contact point.

The Alabama Crimson Tide have proven once again that they are Elite and they aren't going anywhere.

PLAYOFF BOUND !!
I like your enthusiasm, but let’s not get carried away. Although, the calm we have at QB is different. I’m not knocking JM, I love the kid, he has two degrees from my favorite University. But this is different,

We slipped a few times, we slipped in Talla hassee too. Maybe we need a better equipment manager.
Speaking of slips, I'm still trying to get that Michigan game out of my head.
Let’s……beat Vandy first.
Alabama still has a gauntlet to run. I am starting to feel better about things than I did last year, but that FSU loss makes the margin for error much smaller. FPI has Alabama's chances of making the playoff at 69%, that feels a bit optimistic to me, at this point I'd consider it more of a coin flip. But Alabama showed they have what it takes, just time to get it done.

He tucked that ball away and immediately started looking for someone to hit. That was absolutely awesome. Frankly, next time he gets flexed out there, what’s a DC to do? They are going to have to prep for this alignment again. And it’s going to waste time during the week to figure it out. There’s a HS Oline kid dreaming to get the ball and this made a mark in their head. So many positive things for being so ballsy.

Now the play he chose was iffy, but the right side was sealed off all game long, no reason to think it wouldn’t be again. LT made a play.

I think it's safe to say that they finally got the monkey off their back, and I know it's a huge relieve for the team and the coaches. The OL did great job last night, allowing one sack the whole game against very good defense. We had opportunity to go up big, but Williams dropped a sure pass and that's going to continue going forward because I don't think William's head is in the game right now mentally. Horton, Bernard, Scott, and others.. stepped up big.

What concerns me is that Offense in 2nd half just sputtered all of suddenly and Georgia didn't make any adjustments. Nothing changed. They just continued to pressure OL. I think we left 7-14 points off the board in 2nd half. Personally wise, this game should've never been this close.

Defense- They held it down. Everyone complained about Wommack and wanted him fired but honestly, he did make nice adjustments throughout the game and It's good to see players clamping down late in the game. We know the system works; we just have to be consistent with how it's called in the game.

DL got some room to work with, but it is what it is. I think at this point, we should stop sending DL. I also want to point out that we've had almost tackle for loss couple time last night against them, so it's matter of finally being consistent.

I think CKD is a good coach, his record at previous levels and his record against other top coaches in the game speaks for itself.

However, everywhere he has been until the SEC he was able to win with offensive dominance. I think he is seeing he needs a stout defense to compliment his offense at this level. He doesn't have that right now.

He doesn't have a top flight DC who knows how to coach LBs. He is a small ball DC. He has never had the athletes that can play 2 gap assignments. He has made us too small on the DL. He is promoting a swarm defense and I really see is a warm defense...

If CKD gets the defense fixed, I think we resume our normal expectations for what our program is capable of achieving.

He is 7-1 against AP top 10 teams. That‘s good, right!
