No, no you do not. You remember about it, but you do not remember it.Oh yeah I remember Albert Means and all that lol.

That’s hardly relevant. Penn State shouldn’t exist either, but sometimes the bad guys win.Oh yeah I remember Albert Means and all that lol.
At the same time, them folks are all practically gone, including Phat Phil.
Come on man. You are in here telling people within an hour of a painful loss that they shouldn’t be upset at the loss and should actually feel bad about beating a rival for 15 straight years. Why would you expect anyone to take that well? You have a very different definition of "trolling" than I do.
It's a setback, a single loss, not the end of the world. Bama will be fine.
Never gonna happenI certainly do not want it to be lost in the aftermath of this game that Bryce Young took THREE shots to the head and not nary a penalty to be had. Even with one of them triggering a review!
This ref crew needs to be fined or fired.
Saban needs to send those clips to the SEC office.I certainly do not want it to be lost in the aftermath of this game that Bryce Young took THREE shots to the head and not nary a penalty to be had. Even with one of them triggering a review!

That's what frustrates me to no end. I literally just said this to my girlfriend after the game - it's like we took almost the exact same team from last year (sure, a downgrade at WR but an upgrade at RB probably makes it about a wash overall) and somehow even with an extra year's experience, so much of the team feels like it's gotten worse. This team seems a lot like last year's team to me, but with even less discipline. It's like they took last years sloppy play and decided to double down on stupid.
And that, more than anything else, is why someday I’m probably going to quit watching.Never gonna happen
That’s only gonna make it worse.Saban needs to send those clips to the SEC office.
Spurrier complained about FSU cheap shotting his QB (Danny Woeful) in the 1996 game and set the stage for the blowout in the rematch, showing clip after clip of FSU hitting late and not getting called for it.
Do that. And keep the file for sending if we play them in Atlanta, too.
Makes me sadAnd that, more than anything else, is why someday I’m probably going to quit watching.
Blaming refs for bad calls is one thing, but blaming them solely for the outcome of the game is another. Yes they missed several calls that could have benefited us, but this wasn’t a 2020 Ole Miss-Auburn situation in which they legitimately screwed Ole Miss out of the game. Tennessee clearly got home cooking but we lost because we didn’t execute in key situations and we committed way too many mistakes.I'm really irritated about the game but I'm not going to let you sit there and tell me on that 3rd down play in the 3rd quarter, 9:32. #28 for Tenn absolutely tears #17 helmet and facemask, nearly off his head. The refs had several NON calls for tenn. AND THATS the officiating fault! Momentum in the game could have shifted and we could have been in more favorable situations which was the slightest edge we really could have used. I agree that there's a lot of disappointment with the coaches, but everyone on the field played their hearts out, and it was loud. Just like our crowd helped us win out against A&M, Knoxville showed up to Neyland and that was a factor. I still blame the refs for those BLATANT non calls.
One thing that I notice that successful passing teams are doing against us is taking 3 step drops and firing the ball to the primary receiver. It takes our pass rush out of the game.Anyone that doubts the incompetence of that officiating crew needs to look no further than having to go to replay to determine “whether a 4th down play was “a fourth down play”. Seriously, if we were in a “pre replay era”, that clown troupe would still be on the field trying to sort it out.
The thing that stood out to me was the complete lack of pressure/push on Hooker. One sack all night. The one time we got in his face in the pocket, he overthrew it into an interception. Yeah our backend defense was horrible but Hooker “sat in a rocking chair” in the pocket. Bryce scrambling around keeping plays alive and buying time. Hooker with time to make a sandwich and eat it.
As it has in all other walks of life, the media fails us. This should have been hammered by Brad and Gary but from what I gather they were mealy mouthed about it more than anything.Saban needs to send those clips to the SEC office.

Brass tacks, then.Come on man. You are in here telling people within an hour of a painful loss that they shouldn’t be upset at the loss and should actually feel bad about beating a rival for 15 straight years. Why would you expect anyone to take that well?
He is the only reason we were even in the game. I remember saying “Milroe gets sacked on that play” at least 10 times. And that’s not really a slight on Milroe. Bryce is just a damn wizard at times.BY is a warrior and anyone that questions his toughness needs help. RTR
They want Bama to lose…As it has in all other walks of life, the media fails us. This should have been hammered by Brad and Gary but from what I gather they were mealy mouthed about it more than anything.
On the play that was reviewed, not only did Bryce take a shot to the head, helmet to helmet, but the back of his head took a bad shot on the way down, much like Tua‘a did.
Once again you fail to respond… what did you think of the two call I pointed out and what bearing did you think it had on the game… it really isn’t an excuse if it really happened and happened at a time we could not respond to it.Well if you want to blame everything on the refs then go ahead. But I just hear the age old “Well if colt didn’t get hurt” type of excuse when fans do it and neglect to actually consider the totality of the circumstances of why their team was in a position in which a call had such of an effect on a game in the first place. The god to honest truth is that we should have probably beat them somewhere between 56-35 type final score, but we dug ourselves a hole early and didn’t take advantage of Tennessee’s dumb 4th down blunders, interception, or the final drive. If we score a touchdown on any of those then we are smoking cigars and whining about hits on Bryce. But we failed to take advantage of the opportunities that we had, and they did.
What pass rush? One thing that I notice that successful passing teams are doing against us is taking 3 step drops and firing the ball to the primary receiver. It takes our pass rush out of the game.
It cannot get worse than what they did today. That’s only gonna make it worse.
