Mac Jones was more than fine. Despite the Pick-Sixes he played well against a very good D.

The defense was awful.

Well, at least now we know our defensive woes weren't due to Tua scoring too fast. That defense just plain stinks.

What a disastrous end to the season. This game will be billed by national media as “The end of a dynasty”... for a second or third time.
It may well be. Coach isn't getting any younger. It's not like firing half the staff is going to be a good thing. It may be better than keeping them, sure, but it's not optimal.

We've had the worst injury luck in the country over the past 3 or 4 seasons.

We've had too much coaching turnover.

Too much player turnover to the NFL.

We have the worst kicker luck.

We have the worst fortune with referees (hint: the barn was literally gifted 3 points by the refs tonight).

This game was a circus. The reason it was a circus was because of us. Not Auburn. Not Jordan-Hare. Us. Our inability to mentally prepare ourselves. I hate it, but this game obviously means more to those clowns than to us.

With the talent at the discretion of the defensive coaching staff and they give up that many points to a HORRIBLE offense you decide what to think. I’ll be damn if I ever watch us try to kick a field goal. Officiating was complete horse crap.

Shocking to see a Bama defense give up that many points. Very uncharacteristic. Tough lose, but you guys will recruit lights out and be back in it next year.

Well, we now know we will not make the playoffs. I just hope this team will muster up some courage and play well in whatever bowl we end up in.

We should have won this game easily, but just couldn't get out of own way.

It's easy to blame injuries and the refs. And you could be correct in that this team would have won if not for the refs and injuries.

That's not what kept this team from being championship caliber though. No way this team was going to win the playoff playing like that. I'd have loved for Alabama to get a shot, but may be it's better long term that Alabama has a chance to work on fixing what's wrong, because there's a surprising amount of things that are wrong with this team. It was a waste of talent.

You know, these things will get you beat:

13 penalties - how many took possession away from us, including that last one???

Throw 2 pick 6s and one was a 14 point swing: that's a 21 point swing

Let's please be bigger than blaming this on the refs. We flat out got ourselves beat.

Mac Jones is good enough to win a championship next year. If Golding is still your DC next year, it won't happen.
Jones is a gamer and comes across as a nice kids but you aren’t winning a title with him at QB. The game has changed too much. You need a legit game changing QB to win titles. Game managers don’t get it done any more. The college game has become basketball on grass at all levels and in all conferences. If Jones is QB next year Bama will win a lot of games but not title.

Well heckfire, we done pretty fire this year. So that field rush should cost auburn about 2 million. They have worn out their welcome on this.
