We're still fragile, and very weak at LT...
I am at work so watching on small computer screen. What was the rotation at LT? I thought I saw a post about a different player at LT during the 1st half, but then Proctor was back in during the second half. Were we rotating players there or just pulled him so he could watch and learn for a bit?

Well. So much for the “STATEMENT GAME” I was hoping for 🙄
Actually, I think this is a perfectly accurate "statement" for this year's team. Lots of potential, but wildly inconsistent.

When they're on (2nd quarter), they look like Bama of years past. When they're off (2nd half), they look about as bad as any D1 team.

It's hard to accept because we have been so spoiled, but this is how this season is going to be. We could win out or we could just as easily lose 3-4 more games.

Team walking to the locker room after the game like it was a loss…or they knew they were about to get blasted by coach!
Personally, I think that`s good in this case. Nothing wrong, IMHO, with them saying to themselves, " We got our butts whipped in the second half. "

First down seems to be the key....when we get no yards or negative yards we generally struggle on that series.if we get positive yards we do ok...but today we seemed to be behind the sticks a lot. We are also very predictable..

Saying Rees called a bad game is wrong or that we shouldn’t have stopped running is also a bad take. We ran almost every first down and put ourselves in a hole. Having a bad LT and qb make everything worse. 1 completion in the first qtr and what 3 in the second half is a killer. The 3rd down to go avg was horrific all game. But what do you call when a qb can’t and I mean can’t make quick decisions.

Saying KS called a poor game is also a bad take. He can’t complete the sack of the qb and things not to mention three and outs hurting them.

We are not going to Atlanta so we don't have to worry about facing Georgia. But let's just say that Tennessee and LSU stink up the place a little bit more than we do and we beat them and we squeak by Kentucky and the barn and backdoor our way into Atlanta, we will NOT I repeat NOT beat Georgia. How anybody can say that we would beat them and it wouldn't be close is way beyond my comprehension at this point

Youth and dumb spot penalties and spotty playcalling are cause for all kinds of regression, depression and going to confession for Saban. Rees uses Niblack well, the other TE’s are, in fractured ND syntax, wholly ghosts in his offense. Need to see him start to justify his job over the next month and a half, if he can get Proctor out of the offense’s way, it’s got at least a little likelihood of happening—

We got worked at left tackle all day long. If my numbers are correct, we have given up 30 sacks in seven games. That is ridiculous. And it is a combination of questionable play calling, a unsure QB holding on to the ball too long, and an offensive line that apparently had “their fat little girlfriends telling them how great they are” all fall camp.

There are better teams in college football than Tide .. our offense scoring is mostly 3 and long bomb TD

Agree the LT isnt good...yet we predominantly ran that direction...a correlation to getting zero yards on first down runs for the most part?

Willing to bet that 20 of those sacks came from the left tackle or the Back getting blown up on a blitz.

And take away the 3 long balls and we don't have any offensive output today.

It's mind-numbing how we can have a few explosive plays and be so bad on a 5 yard crossing pattern!
Yeah we did. Gouging them on run plays until we stopped doing it. CTR still figuring out how to call a game. Crossing patterns, as well as all mid range throws are all high. Lucky we don’t get picked on those.

I thought Rees called a pretty good game, when Milroe couldn't hit the side of a Barn, Arkansas was loading the box and it was hard to run and Milroe not hitting receiver's like he should made it difficult more than earlier in the game. Also I thought I heard last week Milroe had a slight hamstring problem and probably why he didn't run as much last week and today

He makes pretty good calls although not like Sark. But the run stopped because ark sold out to stop it. Calling plays with the current LT situation and QB is one of the hardest it has been. Milroe can’t consistently hit what are normally easy throws like the wr quick game and screens so what do you do then?
