The sweetest things:

Two big plays in the gane being made by Marshall and Burton. Two transfers FROM UGA.

David Pollack opening his mockingbird mouth and overloading his hummingbird rear end.
Also, Big games from Isaiah Bond and Caleb Downs. Buford HS grads! Georgia didn’t even recruit Bond. They offered , but They didn’t pursuit him, a Georgia booster I know told me Bond was too slow , ran a 4.7 at a camp or something. But he ran track at BHS and ran a 10.5 hundred 🤷🏻‍♂️

They absolutely will NOT let it go. And the horse collar call. Didn't he grab the name plate at the end of it? That's part of a horse collar isn't it?
The official on the broadcast confirmed it being the correct call. You do not have to get your hand inside the collar. You get your hand anywhere near that name plate and pull them backwards, it should be called.

Did they talk about the two missed face mask calls on UGA before they called the one when the Georgia DB nearly ripped Prentice’s head off. I guess not….

I think that Georgia booster must have been smoking crack. Bond is really freaking fast.

He put his right hand inside the collar of Law, but pulled him down with the left on the shoulder pads.I don’t think he pulled it hard and wouldve been ok with a no call. However, their savior on the ‘catch’ , Gene steratore said it was a good call and he would have made it. Law reacted like it was a horse collar.

The CBS rules dude (not Gary the other one 😉) even said that he definitely had his had on the name plate area. UGA fans are just reaching (no pun intended).

Caleb went to Mill Creek High in Hoschton. It's a short distance from Buford.

This is probably recency bias on my part, but this might be the most satisfying win under Saban. It’s not the biggest or most important, but satisfying that we took down the team that everyone has proclaimed has supplanted us as the best.

I don’t know where UGA goes from here, but this is really where Kirby will be tested because both the team and fanbase has been on top for almost 3 years. How do they react to the disappointment of not being in the playoff after having gotten used to it.

From 2017 - 2020 they had moments of greatness, but the carrot of the national title was always dangled as incentive. Now they have to deal with disappointment and complacency. Saban has navigated that brilliantly over his tenure. We will see how Kirby does. Clemson and Dabo did not handle that well.

The way his legs buckled underneath him, the effect of the horse collar tackle was in play. He was at risk of severe injury that the penalty is supposed to protect against.

As for the Bond catch, I’m baffled. It clearly was a catch by every possible definition.
