Yeah, other than CKD, that’s not exactly a Murderer’s Row of coaches that Smart lost to lol. I still don’t understand this narrative that UGA has taken over college football. They cannot beat Alabama.
A 40+ game regular season win streak will do that for you.

I did enjoy the tug of war graphic ESPN used at one point.....Bama kept winning....then UGA got a couple...then Bama again. Said it was quite the tug of war......but if it was a real one UGA would have been in the mud pit some time ago.

Sorry to come across as aggressive. Just after watching that game. That young secondary held out for as long possible and even saved the day at the end. So, I got a little defensive.
It’s all good. I certainly did not mean for my original comment to suggest that teams would have guaranteed access against the secondary. I just feel like that will be their strategy moving forward. This is definitely not “3rd and Kirby” or “3rd and Gol*ing” territory. Beck is a hell of a QB, and our young guys did just enough after the offense went to sleep in the 2nd half.

Trying to catch up on all the postgame comments after getting some late dinner.

I’m still kind of speechless.

Both our Offense and Defense were spectacular in the 1st half.

Jalen played perfectly and was hitting several plays in the passing game that we haven’t seen until tonight.

We really did well utilizing the TE over the middle.

The defense was swarming for at least 3 Qtrs but was just gassed near the end.

The Young DB’s were especially playing well despite some mistakes late. They had several incredible PBU’s throughout the night.

Ryan Williams is just an AMAZING player. He made two jaw dropping plays but the last one for the GW TD was something else. His body control is just insane.

I honestly don’t have a single bad thing to say about any of the players.

The staff went way too conservative on both sides in the 2nd half and with UGA gaining momentum off of 4th downs things just kind of snowballed.

Everyone will learn from this game but it’s better to learn off a W than an L.

We showed resilience in the face of adversity late and when it was gut check time we ultimately passed this test.

Love this team!!!

You're not wrong. I just was so proud of them because they are young and make mistakes but this is going to be an elite secondary once they get some seasoning. They faced some real adversity tonight but came through in the clutch. I went a little papa bearish on you. My bad.

I’ll take him at 17 over any we had transfer out for better Lamborghini’s last year. I just hope we can hold onto him next year due to the lawless state college football has drifted into during this current landscape.
He is a generational talent. Will go nowhere. RTR!!!

No need to apologize. I didn’t take offense. I don’t think my original comment came off the way I intended. It was more like “Teams are going to have to pass all game to beat us. Good luck.”

Lol even BOB and Gol*ing beat these chumps. At this point, I think most reasonable people realize the 2021 title game was an anomaly, and Kirby simply cannot beat Bama at full strength.

Most people don't think much about the reasons for a team winning or losing after it's done, especially if it was officiating or injury to anyone other than a starting QB

Sure, I just meant that it’s clear at this point Bama is Kirby’s Kryptonite. Some people in the media (and fans) suggested it was Saban. It’s definitely Bama.
