Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
I don’t care what you said last week. If you watched this game and think Milroe “was great”, then you’re out of your mind.
Kid just got his ass kicked for you for 40 minutes and not only didn't lose the game, he set the stage for the late blowout. Show some respect. He was great.

He played perfectly fine. USF came in with literally the perfect game plan and he not only managed to win it, he set it up for eventually being a blowout. Almost every drop back there was a free rusher he had to actively avoid in his face. The only reason his arm wasn’t *more* effective than it was happened to be because he was too busy using his legs to keep 3rd and 5 from becoming 4th and 15 for Bama or 1st and 10 for them.

He did his job. Whatever failures he had tonight weren’t his.

Even on a lot of the completed passes the accuracy was lacking. The play Adam’s got hurt on the ball was behind him if it’s infront of him it most likely leads him up field for a bigger play. Most the deep passes were off target a lot. It was truly a bad game from the qb/ol. Unlike the milroe crowd I can say the OL had bad plays. On the flip side when they bring more than you can block that’s on the QB to find his hot route. 5 can’t block 7 but with one on one across the board quick passes off the break are going to be open. At some point you have to process what is happening and make the defense pay for being overly aggressive. If you struggle to do that then you better buckle your chin strap cause they will dial it up till you can prove you can stop it. That goes for every future opponent also.

Just stop. You’re wrong.

The Adams play was the wrong read anyway. If he throws it to Ryan Williams, he’s still running.

Milroe will never thrive in this offense if he can’t make quicker and better decisions. I don’t know that Ty can do it either, but that’s just because we haven’t seen him get the opportunity yet. At this point, I can’t believe he hasn’t transferred yet. I’m hoping we can hold onto him.

I don’t think I am. I think you’re preconditioned to automatically blame the quarterback when he doesn’t go 20-25 and throw for 3 TDs with no interceptions.
Or we see the same flaws as we saw last year. The same thing that Texas and Michigan did that Kirby still kicks himself for not doing just made us look silly on our own field against USF for 3 and a half quarters.

Again. I spelled that out less than a week ago.

you want the truth? USF kicked Bama’s o line’s ass and outcoached Bama’s coaches for 3.5 quarters. That’s not on Jalen.

I love this. “Why didn’t he do his progressions as he’s running for his life? Is he stupid?”
I’m sorry your logic is flawed here you’re getting rushed so you decide to throw to the longest developing route? When you have short routes in the play call that stress the rushers. That’s on qb recognition not play call.
if I’m not mistaken which I could be but my understanding is that you read routes most of the time short to deep unless you see something pre snap or post snap. If you read the 20 yard deep route first then it’s too late to come back and read the 5 yard route.

I do not care about stats when the QB doesn’t know how to read defenses and has no feel for pressure. This game never would have been in doubt with any of Bama’s recent QBs. My God man, Mac Jones would slide away from pressure to deliver the ball. MAC JONES…

Progressions are “progressions.”
See, you make these things called reads and work your way down a list depending on that.

Now try avoiding an angry defensive end that your line let loose while you’re doing it.

I don’t understand how no one else sees it. I’m tired of being gaslighted about Jalen Milroe, for multiple seasons now.
