I agree. I know OU has a great defense. We have to figure a way to get more than a yard or two in the run game. Also, we have to mix it up on first down. If we run on first down and only get minimal yards we are getting behind schedule. We need to give OU different looks so they can’t load the box. Lastly, we cannot run lateral plays and give up five yard losses…those are drive killers.

I want revenge for last season. That was an embarrassing loss that kept Bama out of the playoff. I also want to see 10-15 carries from Daniel Hill. I want to see Hill used as a battering ram to beat down the OU front seven.

Bama’s offensive performance will depend on how its offensive line performs with it’s pass blocking. If it can keep TY upright, and that’s a big if, time of possession and scoring swings to Bama. The ground game becomes much better and Bama wins! Would love to see the defense with a pick six and a fumble recovery. If you’re gonna wish…wish big.
But, this game is certainly winnable.

I want to see them methodically move the chains with short pass plays, WR run plays, RB pass catches, sweeps, and screens. All the while running the clock on those 6 and 8 minute touchdown drives.
