Indeed they are. Not aimed at anyone, but let me caution everyone about lumping all of Penn State nation into what we're seeing on television and online media. These types of media reports paint the picture that a majority, or even 100%, are involved in what's being reported. Usually, it's an ugly vocal minority that causes these types of events.

Eh, good riddance Joe Pa. He had a chance to do the right thing and he chose not to. Nobody should be crying for him.

The shame of it all is that if they were going to riot, it should have been over the 'Inaction's' of the Penn State Administration.
Not the actions of the BOT.
The Penn State students are mad at the wrong people...

The Penn State 'Malcontents' remind me of some of the street scenes from the 'Occupy movement', or a scene from an old Western, where the town drunks get a rope and go to the jail for a 'Lynching'...

Seems the rumor starting to break is that Sandusky might have pimped out kids in the Second Mile program.

Well, it has officially steamrolled now into what you predicted.

I was at the game this weekend and totally took a break from the internet until Monday to deal with my disappointment of the game. Right when I first read the Penn State stuff it had gathered momentum. There is no telling where it will take us now.

The posts on twitter this morning are alluding to the investigation going into pimping of young boys to wealthy donors there. I believe this is what SBB was cautioning about last night. I pray this is not true, the situation is ugly enough.

WEEI out of Boston is reporting this also.

Spot on post. Remember it wasn't all that long ago that the entire Bama Nation was being portrayed as a bunch of Harvey Updykes.

cbi, the loss of a job is nothing compared to the loss of a child's innocence, subjecting him to torture, and destroying his potential in life. There really is no dilemma in a situation like this. As someone said earlier, it is about saving face over soul if someone doesn't do everything possible to stop the abuse.

My understanding is that McQueary did later report it to the police, though they did nothing about it, so under PA law, he can't be fired for this.

He's still a cowardly dirtbag, but that's why he's still there from what I've been told...

I guess we shouldn't be surprised at the NCAA's lack of action given other "situations" they have chosen not to "act" on.

Well I guess that explains why he hasn't been fired yet. Not that I agree with it!
