If I’m Sark, I take a good long at how Herman’s ouster was managed and ask myself if things would be different in the future for me?
6++MM/year (probably) means you don't worry about this stuff. You're gonna get your Benjamins (Wilsons?) regardless of how you perform so long as you aren't fired "with cause." See Gus Bus.

Well, Texas could not get Coach Saban, so they may be going after one of his very best ever coaches. I used to be a Texas fan, until I moved to Texas. That was a Darrell Royal Texas that I liked. And Coach Bryant borrowed the Wishbone from Coach Royal. My recommendation is MOVE the Texas capital from Austin. tu is a downtown university that is as UGLY as SIN. Alabama instead, has a beautiful campus. Why would anyone want to go to Texas? A & M has a beautiful campus compared to tu. And A & M's campus is UGLY compared to the University of Alabama campus. Recommendation: Sark stay at Bama and replace Coach Saban.

If by chance Sark does turn down the job, it should be a major embarrassment and prove what an absolute failure the current sports media machine has become.

Every single journalist I follow has already jumped on this story. Even though there has been no confirmation from either side, every single one of them is reporting it like it’s an absolute done deal. Sure, most are still hedging it with words like “allegedly” or “reportedly”, but everyone is rushing to report a completely unconfirmed rumor to get their share of clicks. It’s crap like this, especially from legitimate journalists that I trust, that drives me nuts.

Maybe they are proven to be right, and maybe it’s just me, but the finality of how this is being reporting is really rubbing me the wrong way.

It would also be a major embarrassment for Texas - not getting the guy they thought they wanted to replace a coach they fired 3 weeks after giving him a vote of confidence. I'm good with all of that......

Would be interesting if they fired him without actually having a coach already in place. That would be epic.

But...but...but... we’re Texas. We’ve got more money than Fort Knox. No one turns us down. WE told Urban “no thanks”.
