on that INT that UT ran back for a TD, I thought the guys knee hit down. If anyone has it Tivo'd, look at it and tell us what you think. if that was ruled down. UCLA could have beat them in regulation....

This could get good. I can see UF, UGA, Barn, South Car. and us handing them loses....Maybe by the time they get around to Kentucky wouldnt that be sweet if UK gives ole fats a losing season...that would be sweet.....I think UK coulda beat UCLA.....UT let UCLA win, and I love it....

No excuses from this UT fan...

Bad QB play+conservative D play calling in the 2nd half+3 missed field goals+blocked punt= bad results for any team

I apologize to the entire SEC on the behalf of UT for that performance tonight

We have a lot of work to do and fast...UAB comes in in two weeks, and they aren't a pushover, then the SEC schedule starts...our first three SEC games are UF, @ AU, and @UGA, so if we don't find a quick fix, we will be 0-3 in the SEC before the second week of October
They may have given you all you could handle in 2005, but you will beat UAB like a redheaded stepchild in 2008.

TN had poor qb play + Oline issues + poor offensive playcalling; Too many deep passes that were not getting completed. That qb is clearly not comfortable in that offense, yet anyway, and I thought the OC put too much on him. Quite honestly I'd put this loss on the TN OC. He kept going to the same plays that were clearly not working, IMO. The Bruins defense just pinned their ears back in the second half. TN defense looked good for most of the game though.
I was thinking TN would win this one rather easily going in. Can't say I'm real disappointed in the result though.

I just spent a bit of time over on Volnation's UCLA game thread. Man, those guys are homicidal about fulmer and chavis! Fulmer's stock of friends in urnge country is getting low. Please don't fire him.

As bad as the offense looked (which was to be somewhat expected with an entirely new offense), the defense was surprisingly bad. Many of their 'stops' came from a rattled QB (not from pressure from UT) making bad passes.

If UT doesn't improve MASSIVELY and fast, this will be 2005 all over for them. The looked flat-out terrible last night...

UT's loss came down to one name, they didn't have a Colquitt kicking. Seems like someone named Colquitt kicked at Tennessee for the last 30 years.
