They'll say it was Mississippi State's monitor that failed, but they never had a monitor to begin with.
I heard tOSU tried to hire the best monitors from a junior college for an annual salary of $200,000.00 but the monitors shafted them at the last minute and went to work at the barn for free.

With these new revelations coming out about the Olying State University and just being hit with "failure to monitor", among other things, does anyone think the Allbarn story is a closed book? I don't really think so.....

The Barn case is closed and dead, never to be resurrected.

Ohio State should lawyer up and threaten to sue the crap out of the NCAA. It has already caused the spineless schmucks in Indianapolis to cower and run from the Barn.

I believe this AU story is over, but knowing their history I would expect a sequel at any time.

Certainly not comparing the tOSU situation with PSU's, but there should be similar repercussions, tOSU should fire both Gee and Smith immediately. They have failed to monitor the program and let the former HC not only cheat and coverup, but lie to the university and the NCAA. 5 scholarships over 3 years is a terrible price to pay. :rolleye2:

The Barn situation is done, even if someone had a video of Cecil with the cash in hand, it is Done.

Tosu had better get really good lawyers.

The Big 10 has been suffering from a Karma Tsunami. They don't have much steam left as far as competitive teams go.
Agree. Big Ten fans have had a holier-than-thou attitude toward the SEC for decades. It doesn't bother me a bit to see Big Ten schools finally get dropkicked for payoff schemes involving athletes.

Yep. No fan of the Big 10 can ever again say a word about how football is all out of priority in the SEC, & how morally superior they are. Not one word.

Not true. From the NCAA statement "closing" the case : "As with any case, should the enforcement staff become aware of additional credible information, it will review the information to determine whether further investigation is warranted. "

The truth will come out eventually. Ten-fifteen years down the road someone that has information will be hard up for money and will spill all for a few bucks for Yahoo or ESPN. I doubt the NCAA does anything that far down the road, but I'm betting they will try it again knowing they "got away with it." If they get sloppy, things could get ugly.

Although I appreciate the Hope that the truth will come out, truth has nothing to do with proof. They just flat out got away with it. I think this all will create much larger problems for College Football for years. I do not think the investigation was ever about finding out the truth, it was about people covering their back side, just like tosu, & psu is doing now.

I just think Alabama fans need to move on, we had an opportunity to crush them in the IB last year so did the Ducks, but came up short.

The best way to pay the barn back is to put up 73 points on them.

This is very similar to what I believe in this case. The Allbarn faithful can only hold their fingers in the dyke for so long. Something will crack. The ncaa does not being lied to and that will come back to haunt the Barn.
That being said, I will now move on.........
