Okal. just as I predicted.........I just did not see him leaning our way all along and felt we have a better chance with Deaderick. However,it is pretty much up in the air on him too. IMO I am very happy that Coleman is starting to lean our way b/c he 's a real rush end or OLB as in DT.

I don't think it's "official" yet, but some think that he has/will.

Moore did NOT commit, although Rivals is apparently reporting him a "soft" commit to OU.

He was interviewed by OUINSIDER.COM's James Hale & was quoted as saying he would call Coach Stoops tomorrow & talk to him & probably commit then. Hale specifically asked him if he'd committed while in Norman & that was his answer....no but I'm calling Coach Stoops tomorrow & I will then.

I've learned to NEVER count on anything these kids say until the actual verbal commit is made & even then it's not a lock until the ink is dry. I've been burned too many times (see WR Robert Meachum from Tulsa who is now in Knoxville).

We've got a kid right now from Killeen who verbaled to us back in the summer who has now decommitted & is apparently headed to The Forty Acres. Mac may not be much of a coach, but he is a swammy.

J Powers is a

barner......man I hate it,but have been feeling like that was going to happen esp. after his visit to T town and he was mum. I sure hope we can turn Rogers b/c I just think we need a cover corner with speed.

I went and read through all the recruiting articles about him on Bamamag and his dad is even interviewed - his name is Rod Moore. I don't remember him. We had a "Bud" Moore, and end on one of CPB's early teams. It would seem to me that BM would have mentioned the relationship. I have a friend, almost as old as I, who is a stats freak. I'll ask him...
