Wow, I agree...I'm not really surprised by the move, but they might should have kept Wingnut and just made him clean house other than possibly Rhoads. Their defense wasn't the issue this year.

Can't make a guy clean house that doesn't want to be there. I think it's very simple what happened. Tubs wanted out. AD asked him to fire some coaches. Tubs used that as his move to get fired and said no way. AD got out the checkbook.

You could be right- it sure seemed like Tubs mailed in the season, particularly after the Franklin situation. I'm not surprised.
