But that's of course too far the other way.

Spurrier would be just as likely to keep swapping QBs after every mistake until they all were looking over their shoulders.

I don't know the correct answer in terms of a specific name but as you said in another post that this year would have been better with any coach who could...

A) Have the fortitude and or just guts to make a change at QB

B) Deal with the consequences and move on

and

C) Have the team prepared every week

and

D) Have a malleable gameplan that can be tweeked in game

CKD failed in all of those areas.

Based on availability and perceived success he was probably the right name to roll the dice on a year ago.

I might end up being wrong and that's fine but right now he doesn't appear to be ready for SEC play or hold enough power to run the program and make hard decisions.

He makes $10 Million and lost to THREE teams with 5 or more losses by refusing to bench a QB that had twice as many turnovers to TD's in the final 2 months of the season.

It's just inexcusable and unacceptable.

Georgia played the same defense in the Championship game and Hurts had to be benched to give us a chance so not sure he would have done much better. They were pretty similar in their skill set while at Alabama.
