Lincoln Riley should be convinced to take him and we can throw in a nice chunk to help him moveHe's probably shopping around for the highest bidder right now and seeing who is going to bite. Milrose's draft status has to be tanking.

The thing is Sexton always has leverage. Milroe doesn’t have any now. The cat is out of the bag.If the dude is as good at manipulating players and coaches as some on this board have implied, he needs to quit playing and become an agent. He would make Jimmy Sexton look like a chump.
I agree with the first statement, but I would not give Milroe one cent for anything.Lincoln Riley should be convinced to take him and we can throw in a nice chunk to help him move
2 seasons too lateI think he needs to be told straight up that his time is done. You cant allow that kind of thing
No, but you can cut the rot out and start administering meds to make it better2 seasons too late
I'd give it to USC...........they will likely need it to pay Riley's severance payI agree with the first statement, but I would not give Milroe one cent for anything.
I thought its reply was very logical, well articulated, and comprehensive.I think the fact that computer metrics said this was a Top 5-10 CFB team demonstrates that they aren’t to be trusted…lol
I don’t think he will succeed at football but he is intelligent and has other interpersonal skills that will ensure he succeeds in life and especially in Business. If the dude is as good at manipulating players and coaches as some on this board have implied, he needs to quit playing and become an agent. Should have put it all in blue font............it was somewhat done in jestI think we need to move on from Riley and Milroe discussion.
Riley is probably heading to NFL after this season. USC tenure has been bad for him. I don't see him back coaching USC next season. I think he goes to NFL as OC playcaller.
I knew you were joking. I was half-serious about the post.Should have put it all in blue font............it was somewhat done in jest
We report...you decideI like how fair and balances this forum is... We have an "Everything Will Be Fine Thread" and a "Omnious Signs Ahead"...
TLDR...I agree............I am disappointed in how the season went, and it's easy to get ticked and think we made the wrong hire, but he does deserve three years and he should get it
Patience is a virture.................and few of us have it
If in fact Milroe's pre-snap stance was highly indicative of the play call, then it's one of the few things about which I actually am disappointed in CKD. I assume there are off-the-field reasons for the QB snap allocation, so I am giving him a pass on that. But this "tell" should be discovered by the self-scouting that any competent coaching staff should be doing, and its apparent lack is concerning...hard to do when the QB is telling the D that this is a run play...
It's probably one of those things he works on in practice, but never actually makes it into an actual game.If in fact Milroe's pre-snap stance was highly indicative of the play call, then it's one of the few things about which I actually am disappointed in CKD. lots of folks have been saying that the staff knew and had worked extensively with him on it, but like most things in the game for him, the work didn't stick once it got to games. If in fact Milroe's pre-snap stance was highly indicative of the play call, then it's one of the few things about which I actually am disappointed in CKD. He probably decided to go all Sinatra in a game and "Did it my way"It's probably one of those things he works on in practice, but never actually makes it into an actual game.
Who knows?
As they say, you can lead a horse to water...

Not to beat a dead horse being led to water, but then as a coach you have two choices, not necessarily mutually exclusive, for the sake of the team:lots of folks have been saying that the staff knew and had worked extensively with him on it, but like most things in the game for him, the work didn't stick once it got to games.
That would be over-estimating what Milroe can do...Not to beat a dead horse being led to water, but then as a coach you have two choices, not necessarily mutually exclusive, for the sake of the team:
- Tell JM (with any LANK accomplices as witnesses) that if this tell appears in a game with the outcome in the balance, he'll be replaced and will have the next week in practice to work on it. And then we'll repeat as necessary on a weekly basis.
- Take a page from Andre Agassi's playbook. Let him keep doing it, and before the most strategic plays of the game (4th and short, for instance), have him intentionally give, say, the run tell on a pass play. So the defense sells out to stop a run that is not coming. If he can't do that, see #1 above.
The Andre Agassi story was great! Thank you for linking that. Not to beat a dead horse being led to water, but then as a coach you have two choices, not necessarily mutually exclusive, for the sake of the team:
