Give me ambiguity or give me something else.
Polls are out. Finally Auburn is number one.

Missed unanimous in the AP by two votes. One guy from NC voted Duke (understandable) and some rando out in El Paso voted Florida (uh, ok?).

Coaches we missed it by six votes. Five went to ISU. While I get it we did beat them head to head in a neutral site game so that’s a bit odd. One coach apparently doesn’t care and still had Tennessee number one lol.

Rest of the SEC according to the AP

#1 Auburn
#4 Alabama
#5 Tennessee
#6 Florida
#8 Kentucky
#11 Texas A&M
#15 Mississippi State
#21 Ole Miss
#23 Georgia

FWIW I expect this to be a very short reign at number one. MSU at home tomorrow then at UGA Saturday, then UT at home the next Saturday. All 3 will be struggles, especially without Johni.

Imagine it’ll be a good opportunity to purge some rat poison though. This team is tiring mentally a bit. We about need that L to reset. I was hoping we could avoid it until @ Bama.

You know more about them than I but it seems there is more to Auburn than just Broome. I'd pick AU over MSU and UT playing at home without him. Missing Broome brings those games down to being competitive.

I wish Alabama had UT at home this season...

Pringle had two free throws to take the lead with 9 seconds left. Yet missed both. Bring back bad memories? Auburn ratcheted up the defense in the 2nd half but were fortunate to escape.
He still has exactly the same non-stroke. He just extends his arm and then flips his wrist. His body posture says he hates being there and knows he's going to miss...

My memory's not that good, but it seems to me that the last time we played them up there, I was at the point of throwing stuff at the TV. I want to say that it was Shows...

Depends on how well Chaney (Johni’s direct backup) and Dylan can keep out of foul trouble, and it hasn’t been good this year on that front. They both get caught out of position and have a bad tendency to reach in, in addition to Dylan often just getting foul calls even when he goes straight up lol.

So we’re still favored in all three, but they went from 80-20 games to 70-30 or 60-40. Essentially the roll of a three sided die. There’s good odds we lose one or even two of them.

If we go 3-2 over the next five I’ll consider that a win.

I almost did too but for different reasons. Dalton Knecht just went absolutely insane from the floor in the waning minutes. Kind of had to appreciate how good he was a bit.
