AUdub, what happened in Boone yesterday? I didn't get to go to the game or watch it, but saw the final score. Was it App St. just playing over their heads or did AU lay an egg?

AUDub can't come to the phone right now. He is still too butt hurt over 4 & 31 to carry on a calm, adult discussion. Please leave a message and he will return your call as soon as he is out of the doghouse. Remember, there is always a prayer in Jordan-Hare, until there isn't.

This is an interesting look at the analytics from Evan Miya.

The 5 man with the best AdjEM in the country is basically our second platoon.

It’s a common theme in our games. First platoon of Aden-Denver-CMo-Jaylin-Broome starts and the game is fairly even, then the second platoon of Tre-KD-CBM-Chaney-Dylan comes on, applies the clamps defensively and rips off a run.

The Mark Sears vs KD matchup is one I’m looking forward too. If teams have a dynamic guard KD has been clamping them down this year. That kid from LSU last week for example. KD drove him nuts.

I’m terrified of going in to Coleman Wednesday. This Auburn team is good but they haven’t really been tested on the road since Boone.

The thing I worry about is that on the road we may not get a lot of leeway to keep using our active hands defensively. We are a hyper aggressive defensive team and I could see tight whistles racking up fouls in a hurry in a way they wouldn’t at Neville. It’s just one of those things you have to deal with on the road.

Combine that with the fact that Bama is very good offensively - those efficiency ratings don’t exist in a vacuum - and we could be in for our hardest test all year with good odds of an L.

Should be a good one as long as we don't get caught up in the emotional high of the game
