Omnibus Thread on SEC Tournament...

Agree. Idk how he doesn’t get hit with techs. Very unlikable.
I’m beginning to think they get away with all they do in that gym because of his bullying the refs into not calling all the holding, pulling, grabbing and bumping they do down there.
Frankly, the whole team acts like him and starts mouthing at the refs when a foul is actually called. I wouldn’t put up with it.

If I was an official, I would not listen to his crap all night. He is the biggest crybaby in basketball. I would say more but it would be too political...
I’d love to hear his crying in the locker room about how the officials wouldn’t let them win.

You're really right. It's just become the omnibus thread on the SEC...

I have one in our forum I started back in 2021 entitled "Scoreboard -latest on SEC & other games, incl scores" for just such a purpose. Nice to have no matter what the title. Our conference has become so strong in recent years.....I think we all like to have somewhere to talk about it......

Man, I've been impressed with their play since the SECT.

I've got to admit they are playing a brand a basketball that I hope will see in Tuscaloosa when CNO gets it going.

Shoot, I'm so impressed I'm just going to say it: WAR EAGLE!

aPRIL fOOLS!

I'm glad to see the thread's title get an updated name.

But in my defense when I originally posted it in 2019 it should be noted it was an April Fools joke (April 1, 2019).

I think Auburn gets so much home cooking at home that it handicaps them on the road and in the tournament. I think they are offensively challenged in a evenly officiated game. I dont expect them to go deep in the tournament.

I’d love to hear his crying in the locker room about how the officials wouldn’t let them win.

I’d truly hate it for him. He’s the winningest player in AU history, and if that’s his career. Oof.
I’m sure he’s made some money over his career and likely has insurance. Hope he got a degree. Sucks for him but if he played it right he could have a great head start on a good life

their guards are their weakness. Hard to win in March with poor shooting guards. And when you don’t get to shoot 50 free throws in a game, it’s much harder too. ;)

AU played defensively most of the night, which was a weird take for a team with such a home court advantage. Kentucky's length really seemed to bother them, and they couldn't shoot worth a lick. As for UK, I just hope this was a one-off and not a coming out party. They were really good.

Thought Mizzou was gonna pull their conference win out last night. OM’s 7-5 guy sat the bench a lot and when he was in, didn’t seem to be much of a threat offensively.

It's similar to the hand-slap, hand-check style they play. The refs just can't call them all...
You would think that the refs would make enough calls to the point where they would stop with their fouling, or they would figure that if I don't, I'm going to foul out. Of course, I don't ever see the refs doing the right thing down there on the plains.
