I have family from South Carolina who are Gamecock fans.

In 2001 we lost to USCe 37-36 and they immediately called the house to rub it in.

Never Forgot it.

Yeah they do not like each other.

When I would go to SC for summer vacation in the 80’s it was like Bizarro Alabama.

They had so much merchandise up there that was USCe vs Clemson like it’s Bama vs AU here.

Cola cans and Candy bars and everything.

It was so weird because even as a kid I knew both teams were historically pretty mediocre.
