Game Thread: other non-Alabama games. Do we care?

Thank God we didn’t end up with Arch Manning. Sark is a good play caller but a terrible head coach.
Quite the enigma....maybe know your strength and stick to it....although I am not convinced Sark is a genius play caller...he hasn't shown that this year

Glover for Georgia is a 320 pound three star interior offensive lineman. He pulls and runs like a charging hippo with an attitude. Georgia’s other true freshman offensive lineman is playing strong as well.

The number one ranked interior offensive lineman in the class? Michael Carroll, who Alabama is trying to make a tackle.

Evaluation and coaching have to change.

I suppose. Don't even care at this point. We aren't going anywhere this year, our offense is a mess.

ATM has a shot vs Georgia, but I'd pick Georgia.

Ohio State looks like a back to back champion.

But I'm gonna pull for Meatchicken when they play them.
they will lose to meatchicken again, but probably still win the national championship

we have no idea how good they are....barely got by TX and should have lost that game....since that...played no one...not one B1G top team...pretty much .500 teams or lower...so there is no litmus test to say they are a great team.....

People can say Ohio State didn't play anyone but they came into the season ranked #3 and they are now 8-1-1 against the spread so they have to be pretty good. Usually when a team has that kind of record against the spread is when a team comes into the season with low expectations and surprises everyone.

Whats been the average spread? Because that may be the easiest bet EVER....OSU has elite talent and is playing below average teams....maybe Vegas has missed this one!....may be worth a flutter next game....lol

Proud of my Gators tonight. Do you guys know how many starters on offense we are missing? Almost all of our receivers and quite a few of our backs., Poor DJ. Getting a lot of flack when folks don't consider he's playing without his fav. targets. Good kid and tough competitor.

We still have Tennessee and FSU so much to play for......

The average spread has been around -23.5. While beating the spread alone does not prove a great team 100% of the time it's one indicator, especially for a team that was highly ranked preseason. Let's look at an opposite example, Penn State. Although PSU won 3 cupcake games early they failed to cover the spread in each of those 3, which was an indicator that they were overrated coming into the season. Sure enough, when they got into the Big Ten schedule their season turned into a disaster.

Im a few beers in trying to figure out why I even bother with this sport anymore. Kids making more money than I'll ever see in my life and I watch these games now just not caring like I used to.

I hate that.

I’m wondering the same thing but not because of NIL but because of the lack of major upsets. Yes, I’ll still watch Bama every week like I’ve been doing forever but seeing USCe fold to A&M, Texas fold to UGA, Florida fold to Ole Miss, and teams just lay down to Ohio State, Oregon, Texas Tech, and Indiana sucks, why do we have to be the only ones miserable this weekend? What happened to the old days of Stanford beating #2 Oregon and Baylor beating #1 Kansas State in the same night to soften the impact of our loss?

As much as NIL/Portal has spread talent around, it has ruined quality of play. Teams aren’t pulling upsets because they are not real teams anymore. They are hires mercenaries.
