Yah, but I'm betting they'll be touting this an historic victory. I'd be depressed if Bama played like that in a bowl game...If I were Auburn I would not be shouting too loud after that fiasco. AU was just plain lucky.
Could not disagree more. Saying Auburn was "lucky" is agreeing with the media folks who say we were "lucky" to beat Tennessee. If I were Auburn I would not be shouting too loud after that fiasco. AU was just plain lucky.
Totally correct. That game was NUTS. And Auburn was not classy in the way they played or conducted themselves. If I were Auburn I would not be shouting too loud after that fiasco. AU was just plain lucky.
When you win in overtime because you injured the only kicker on the other team's depth chart in a game you couldn't win in regulation despite benefitting from five interceptions and missed three field goals and an extra point, you committed numerous unsportsmanlike conduct and personal foul penalties, and you blew a 14 pt. lead at the end of the fourth quarter....The fact is, Northwestern was "lucky" to be in the position to win the game just like Tennessee was "lucky" to be in the position to win against us.
I can accept that...OK, back to open season on hating them. The SEC gets a win, and we have another reason to hate 'em.
