How do yall handle parking? Ihave not been to a game in Tuscaloosa in a long time. I just paid a bunch of money for a couple of Auburn tickets. What do yall do for parking? Many tickets available for parking but there has to be a cheaper way. Tuscaloosa is as bad as the Cowboys

I park at the downtown Tuscaloosa parking deck (behind or a part of the city government buildings, next to the park). It's free and first come first serve. Then I walk to Strip and the stadium. I've done this with my wife and 2 littles as well.

We did pay for parking last year for the Homecoming game, right by the band practice field (or former practice field). That was mostly because of having the 2 littles and a super early Homecoming parade start. Not sure we'll do that again this year, but we'll see.

I think the parking problem has been one of the few things that has become easier for long time season ticket holders in recent years, but any lot that is available for first come, first serve basis anywhere close to the stadium is going to be expensive. If you arrive early enough and can park downtown or at the mall and take the available shuttles, you can save money, but they certainly add to the pain of getting out when it is all over. If you want to aim for something on or just off campus, also look at the Boy Scout lots across from DCH and near Coleman or the Soccer Field lots...

Any Boy Scout lots (near the stadium/quad especially) are Tide Pride lots and must be purchased ahead of time. I worked these for years with my son’s pack & later troop. You cannot pay for those and get in.

Not totally the right thing to do but you could always park at DCH and walk.
Not as easy as it once was. They demolished the hospital's main deck and the new one is still under construction. There is still a surface lot and a smaller deck, but capacity is down pending completion of the new deck.
