You're welcome.
And I agree with him, I'd love to see both teams wear home jerseys in this series.
I think if Carroll is ready to go now, as Grubb as stated.....we may start looking better on the OL.Win the O LOS, win the game...that simple!!!
I'd rather have no mistakes. But if I have to tolerate them, let them be from a freshman. At least he has a realistic chance of improving.I think if Carroll is ready to go now, as Grubb as stated.....we may start looking better on the OL.

Only tangentially related: It'll also be interesting to see how the staff's willingness to publicly challenge players will go over in this day of the transfer portal.
Wommack calls out Domani Jackson. Grubb calls out Wilkin Formby. And I guarantee you DeBoer blessed doing it publicly. Most staffs would be worried that the player gets his widdle feewings hurt, and he quits and transfers. Not this staff.
Maybe it's tough love. Maybe it's old-school coaching. Maybe they're figuring that if the player transfers, they aren't losing much. Maybe all of those.
Whatever the reasoning, I'm watching to see how or whether it works.
As it should be.I think this staff has reached a point where they're more worried about keeping their jobs (by continuing to win) than hurting a player's feelings and he transfers.
I'd much rather suffer the growing pains of a hungry and disciplined freshman than endure the same mistakes time and time again from a complacent and entitled upperclassman.I'd rather have no mistakes. But if I have to tolerate them, let them be from a freshman. At least he has a realistic chance of improving.

D. Jackson is absolutely terrible some of the time.I'd rather have no mistakes. But if I have to tolerate them, let them be from a freshman. At least he has a realistic chance of improving.

Just play the players that give you the best chance to win. I'm well past worrying about whether someone might transfer or if coaches are making decisions based on NIL deals. If a player is more focused on their personal brand than the team, then honestly, good riddance. Give me guys who are bought in and want to win.I think this staff has reached a point where they're more worried about keeping their jobs (by continuing to win) than hurting a player's feelings and he transfers.
And it doesn't matter how talented they are, if they are more focused on their brand and making money, their play on the field more than likely won't be what you're wanting anyway, because they're distracted.Just play the players that give you the best chance to win. Can we PLEASE stop talking about Milroe?!?!?!?And it doesn't matter how talented they are, if they are more focused on their brand and making money, their play on the field more than likely won't be what you're wanting anyway, because they're distracted.
His play on Missouri's first TD Saturday was twilight zone bad. Standing 3 yards out of bounds while the guy that caught the TD pass runs right past him.D. Jackson is absolutely terrible some of the time.
He was thinking the ball was overthrown and he was going to intercept it even though he was so far out of bounds the water boys were standing beside him.His play on Missouri's first TD Saturday was twilight zone bad. Williams needs to get Williams back on the field.I am not one of those that thinks you cannot rotate some on the OL, but I think at this point it's a little too much. We need to pick our best 5, practice with them all week and go into the game with those 5. If one of them sucks, yank them for someone else, but at least plan to go with our best guess. We need to get Williams back on the field. I know he's not perfect but he can still make plays that are practically indefensible at times and that's an X factor we need if for nothing else but to keep them too scared to stack the box.
Williams needs to get healthy physically and mentally. I think the latter is what he struggles with the most. Tends to run sloppy routes, doesn't block the way you'd expect, loafs a lot when he knows he's not getting the ball....at least he appears to.I am not one of those that thinks you cannot rotate some on the OL, but I think at this point it's a little too much.
