The likelihood of someone running the table during the regular season is definitely in the BIG10 as opposed to the SEC. I could see the overall #1 being Penn State even though they may not fair well come playoff time against lower seeded teams.Interesting.....he's got Nebraska in there.
So he's got the final rank as:
1. Penn State
2. Alabama
3. Texas
4. Oregon
5. Clemson
6. Notre Dame
7. Ohio State
8. Florida
9. Georgia
10. Arizona State
11. Nebraska
12. Boise State
Well the rules are different this year.Interesting he has every team with a bye winning when the opposite happened last year.
Penn State's schedule:The likelihood of someone running the table during the regular season is definitely in the BIG10 as opposed to the SEC. I could see the overall #1 being Penn State even though they may not fair well come playoff time against lower seeded teams.
Penn State will be favored to win 11 of their 12 games this season. The one game they will be an underdog will be their road matchup against Ohio State, and that game will be somewhere in the -2.5 Ohio State range. Good chance they run the table unless Franklin goes full (Tropical Thunder reference) this season...Penn State's schedule:
Nevada - W
FIU - W
Villanova - W
Oregon
at UCLA - W
Northwestern - W
at Iowa - W
at Ohio State
Indiana - W
at Michigan State - W
Nebraska - W
at Rutgers - W
They'll be 10-2 at worst unless they lay an egg somewhere at get upset. Oregon at home and Ohio State on the road.....with both of those teams having new QB's.
I might literally die laughing if they were to lose to Nevada.Penn State's schedule:

In the bold predictions thread, I said Nebraska or UNC would make the playoffs and it’s purely because their schedules are a joke. Nebraska’s is a little better than UNC’s but it’s basically Indiana’s from last year with Ohio State replaced with Penn State. I don’t think Pate really thinks Nebraska will be really good, just that their schedule is very favorable. They have a legit chance of being undefeated heading into the November game with Penn st.Interesting.....he's got Nebraska in there.

I expect Penn St. to lay an egg when you least expected. they are always good for one.Penn State's schedule:

Lets take a look at Nebraska's schedule then:In the bold predictions thread, I said Nebraska or UNC would make the playoffs and it’s purely because their schedules are a joke. Two of those teams never should have gotten byes. Another one was playing a backup QB. Thankfully they changed the stupid format this year.Interesting he has every team with a bye winning when the opposite happened last year.
