thank you all for the info on how to get to the stadium, looks like marta is the way to go. Thanks again everyone.
Thanks for the info! Here is some detail on the "Peach Bowl" sponsored events - http://www.chick-fil-apeachbowl.com/events/
Also, it looks like the team will be staying at the Marriott Marquis - http://www.chick-fil-apeachbowl.com/plan-your-visit/hotels/
By coincidence we booked a room at this hotel on points before I found out where the team was staying!
I was emailed the tickets that I bought today. Mine happen to be in Sec 352 row 11.Where are the tickets located? It just gives a generic title.

Find a decent station to park (Lindbergh, College Park and East Point are good) and take Marta. You'll be very glad you did.I ordered 2 for the game from UW site.
I have never been to a bowl game/ Georgia dome.
Can some of you people that have done this before give a newbie on how to park and the best time to get there?
Will be leaving Bham area ....
Thanks in advance.
Never mind. This ^ is fantasticSee map and link. Park and ride from Holmes (W5) to Vine City (W2) Avoid Dome(W1) arriving and leaving. Especially leaving!

I'm in Talladega and we always drive to the Hamilton E. Holmes MARTA station and ride it to the Dome. Then you can walk around anywhere you want. No traffic and looking or paying for parking. You will enjoy the dome, it's a pretty fun place.I ordered 2 for the game from UW site.

just fyi for anyone from out of town using marta, there is free parking at s4, s5 and s6 (i'm pretty sure there is still free parking at college park, but i never use that station). you can walk from station s1 to the dome and back and skip the craziness of five points and dome stations.See map and link. Did you receive them the same day you bought them?I was emailed the tickets that I bought today. Mine happen to be in Sec 352 row 11.
College park parking is free and here's a hint.....park in the long term lot east side of the tracks) instead of the after term. The short term fills up early and has 1/4th of the parking availablejust fyi for anyone from out of town using marta, there is free parking at s4, s5 and s6 (i'm pretty sure there is still free parking at college park, but i never use that station). you can walk from station s1 to the dome and back and skip the craziness of five points and dome stations.

with lakewood/ft mac, the east side lot is sometimes closed on weekends, not sure about the day of the peach bowl with it being a holiday weekend.College park parking is free and here's a hint.....park in the long term lot east side of the tracks) instead of the after term. on a saturday, i don't foresee an issue with parking space. just got my tix today, nose bleeds, but we are on the 50 yd line (section 322) so should be great seats. That is where I am planning on parking. I suppose I can go back to East Point if no parking available. Got my tickets today. Once again I am in the nose bleed (328) but seeing the tickets made me glad I am going. See ya'll there!
When you say "300 level seats are all sideline" what do you mean? On the chart 300 seats are upper deck. I am probably just being dense, but I was thinking of buying off stub hub in section 140 for about 300$ a piece. Are these tickets from the UW site better than those? One poster mentioned his were in section 351/352 which seems upper deck.Tan shaded area on Washington side. 300 level seats are all sideline.

I've never been to the Georgia dome. If I am looking at sections 106ish vs 140ish is the 140 section worth the extra 25$ per ticket?on a saturday, i don't foresee an issue with parking space. just got my tix today, nose bleeds, but we are on the 50 yd line (section 322) so should be great seats.
safe travels and roll tide!

looks like 106 is end zone and 140 is goal line/5 yd line. i would say pay the extra 25, especially in the lower deckI've never been to the Georgia dome. If I am looking at sections 106ish vs 140ish is the 140 section worth the extra 25$ per ticket?
Is it worth the extra cash in your opinion for the lower sections? TW already said that its better up high. Having never been there I don't have any idea. I thought it might be cool to get closer to the field for this one.looks like 106 is end zone and 140 is goal line/5 yd line. i would say pay the extra 25, especially in the lower deck
