Is the Tide having a one separate from the "Battle of the Bands" one mentioned on the bowl website that takes place down on the boardwalk area?

I think it is all at the same time. I cant believe that we are the only three that are gonna be in Shreveport and are going to the pep rally . RTR

I'm going to the game but won't be in Shreveport early enough to make it to the pep rally. Not sure if I would go anyways, I wasn't real impressed last year by the parade/battle of the bands in Dallas. The year before, Nashville was much funner. It may have been the difference if night and day, I don't know.

Where is the usual thread of "Where you're staying/anything fun to do/ great places to eat in and around Shreveport" at?

Didn't much need it last year(had freinds in Dallas) but it was a lifesaver in Nashville.

As far as places to eat, my family goes to the Independence bowl a lot just to see the game and we ALWAYS eat the buffet in the tall bronze casino--I think its the Horseshoe, and we also eat at Ralph and Kacoos Seafood.
