Also I don't consider two responses (at the time of my initial question) to be "hordes." He was silent (I think) on a similar issue. I wanted to know where he stood.
Side note, Barron Trump goes to the same HS I went to. It's a pretty liberal private school especially the history department. And allegedly the secret service talks about him behind his back some but not in an mean way really. More of a "Where the heck is he going off to now?" kind of way.
This post was started because of the Left's silence and the lack of ramifications from these tweets, which could be argued are worse than Roseanne's. Matt brought up immigrant children to change the subject, ironically using I believe it's called "whataboutism" that they so love to say about Republicans.

Here is the answer to your question about separating families. First of all, about one third are reunited WITHIN HOURS of being separated. Secondly, if you enter the country correctly and ask for asylum there isn't separation. By all means, continue to bash away.

Unless family members are involved in the politics then they should be way off limits IMO. But, people seem to always seem to go overboard and attack the President's kids.

I agree that this was a terrible thing to say and Fonda should be held accountable but I do not see this as an attack on a kid. What fonda said was essentially "someone should do to Barron what you are doing to other peoples kids" that is not an attack on BArron, that is an attack on Trump because Trump is a despicable scumbag that is hurting kids for political points and nothing more
I don't follow celebrity tweets. This is the first I've heard of these tweets and the posting here was the first I'd heard of Roseanne's tweets.
I brought up the immigrant children because it is directly related to why Peter Fonda apparently made these comments. That isn't changing the subject, it is encapsulated within that subject. And I mentioned Fonda's tweet directly which is also not changing the subject. My main thing was trying to find out if you were more outraged over tweets about something imaginary happening or the very real thing happening right now. You answered exactly how I expected. Feel free to continue on the Peter Fonda outrage train.
That is how it is supposed to work. That is not what is happening right now.

As Matt shows just above this post, there are credible reports of Pedo's working at these facilities. In addition to Matt's link there are also many stories floating around about kids getting treated horribly including sexual assault on minors in CPB care.
