Phil Savage named Executive Director of the Senior Bowl

This is great news for Savage, great news for the Senior Bowl, and great news for Mobile.

No one appreciates what the Senior Bowl does for Mobile, college football seniors or the league more than Savage does. He knows everyone who's everyone in the NFL.

He'll be a HUGE improvement over the crusty, belligerent Steve Hale, who stepped down after the 2012 installment.
