It's a broken record... this team doesn't have that "it" factor.
They're a very mediocre team and we just need to recognize that. I do but am still going to watch and pull for them because that's what I do
Would love to see them go on a tear but they've shown no ability to do so and are playing about .450 ball at best.
They're not THAT far away given how they've played the best teams aside from LAD in the league - Mets & Phillies - they could turn around, but then they'd have to actually sweep all the other wannabe teams from here until the end.
On a positive note, I can watch the Braves through MLB.tv, which I got for free from a friend who has T-Mobile. Even though I live within Braves country, the games are not blacked out if I use my phone when connected to cellular. When I connect to wifi, they are blacked out. The location of the IP I am getting from AT&T comes up as New Orleans. So yeah, I can watch for free right now.
Time to sell, regroup, and rebuild...even if this team gets hot and squeaks into the wildcard at the end of the season, they will get slaughtered by the Phils, Padres, Dodgers, etc. come crunch time. I'll always support them as BN mentioned, but I just don't see anything salvageable this year.
You know what is annoying to see right now on Reddit? There is a significant number of Braves fans saying, "Profar will come back and help turn things around." They were saying the same thing when Acuna returned, and while Acuna has played good, the rest have gotten worse. Profar ain't changing anything.
Even if he did, and this team sneaks into the WC, he can't play in the postseason, and we are back to the current crappy lineup.
