27-10. I don't think I need to identify which team is which. I think Mizzouri puts up decent yardage, but has at least one costly turnover in Bama territory, probably by INT.

Weather may play an issue. If it is pouring, then the game will be sluggish. Pouring: 20-0 Bama. Decent conditions: 31-13 Bama.

I've said in other threads how I think people misinterpret some of things Coach Saban says because they fail to think "big picture" like I think Coach does almost 100% of the time. For example, the comments about the fast paced offense were probably intended to get the media talking about that rather than spend the off week telling our players how good they are. He has done that twice this season so far. That was not an emotional, off-the-cuff rant. It was a well thought-out, deliberate message.
^ This. Exactly what I believe. He plays the media better than anybody else in college football, but he doesn't do it to make the program look good to the media. He does it to improve his teams focus and performance.

Yessir...the consummate professional...never seems to take a minute off or miss an opportunity to stay on track toward the goal

Before the season began, I had this road game circled with about as much ink as I did the SC game in '10. It felt like the same type of trap with the exception that it was following an off week rather than a dismantling of Florida. Much has changed nonetheless. Like many have speculated, I believe the weather could play a part, and moving this game to 2:30 took whatever air might have been building in Mizzou's balloon. I was actually hoping for a night game (a 6 p.m. night game, that is); I was also hoping to be going up against a healthy James Franklin, the most dynamic QB they would've most likely seen in the regular season (D. Robinson included). It would've been great to get some personal experience and film against a dual-threat of his caliber, should Connor Shaw, Geno Smith, Marcuse Mariota or Collin Klein present themselves to the Tide a little later.

I expect our offense to attack UM from the outside in, double-teaming Richardson and stirring their MLB away. I would really like to see us commit to running the ball first, even though that's UM's strength on D. The O-Line really needs to get a rhythm going, and I would also like to see us begin to let a small grouping of receivers begin to solidify themselves rather than "passing to the entire team". This could be a post all to itself; it's great to have the logjam of talent the team has right now, but the offense won't ever reach its full potential if it continues to try to get everyone so involved. I know that seems counterintuitive, but it's this amateur fan's opinion.
The D won't get the test it should've gotten out of Berkstresser, but it won't be a walk in the park either, especially if Belue is still hobbled at all or we get caught out of position, because the deep ball is a strength of theirs.

Isn't Pinkel the MO HC, a Don James guy like Saban? If so CNS may try to go easy on him if possible. That is of course if the game turns out similar to the Mich ST. bowl game 2 years ago. Even then we scored 49. :BigA:

At this point in the season MO offense is one of the worst in the SEC. This is not the game to try and improve on that.

I believe we might show a few new wrinkles to the offense due to the bye week and because of the loss of some offensive players. Maybe an assessment game for what some of the new guys can do well and what they need to work on. If the weather condtions are sloppy I see the Tide winning 38-3, if it's relatively dry 45-9

Nothing spells 'Welcome to the SEC' like a good thrashing at home...
I don't know why I think they will score 10, but I'm feeling generous.
