I see no spread is available right now due to uncertainty with Tua I’d imagine. We need to get to the bye week with no more injuries. Tennessee is playing better, and the game is at their house. But Alabama is just too good.

Bama wins 41-16

I just hope we can get through this game unscathed with no more injuries. I'm very concerned about that right now. Not just Tua but the receivers.

Defense is “woke”. Orange puke won’t cross the goal line.
Jalen lights em up.

Tua starts: Alabama 56 - TN 6
Jalen starts: Alabama 41 - TN 13

If Jalen starts you will need your punter a few times.

Too much of a talent disparity for UT to pull the upset, but I think the coaches want to just get this one over with so Tua can heal up and so they can start focusing on really our only remaining obstacle to an undefeated regular season—a very hungry and talented LSU team at night in Baton Rouge. We will prevail in Knoxville but I do not think that it will be a pretty win with Jalen taking the reins and Tennessee perhaps playing over their heads with a HC that knows an awful lot about our program.

The score last year was 45-7 with Jalen at qb. Tennessee is better now but so is Jalen so regardless of who plays qb

52-1

We should spot them the 1.

As far as needing a punter if Jalen is qb, I suspect DeLong will punt until he shanks another one. At least that’s the message I’d give him. I never played football with anyone that didn’t try their hand at punting. Someone on that team can punt good enough get the ball down field. We don’t need a great punter. We just need someone who won’t shank the ball so often.

I'm going to be a little shocking here, I suspect that we're gonna see the occasional pre-bye malaise we suffer versus Tennessee. We're kinda dinged up and Tennessee is flying high. I suspect our on and off linebacker deficiencies through the first 7 games will be a source of some of the heartburn. I have a sneaking suspicion that we play Jalen Hurts more in this game in the early portions and maybe even take over most of the 2nd half if we can get some wiggle room. If there ever was a time to lean on the rare case of QB depth, Tua nursing a knee sprain is the time to do it.

Alabama 34 Tennessee 17
