Anyone noticed that the line moved 2 points for Bama today? I think it's at 9 1/2 right now. Monday it was -7, Tuesday it was -81/2 and wednesday it was -9 1/2. Think Vegas knows something? Is it related to Dan Prescott injury? Lack of confidence in MSU?

Vegas knows Bama fans (and other betters) are taking Bama and the points, so the line moves to try to stabilize the bets.

The opening line is generally a good indicator - from there the line simply chases the bets as Vegas makes the most money when it has equal betters on both sides.

This will be an excellent game to watch. Top on the list. Bonus that Oregon is on a bye week. A completely relaxed college football afternoon/evening. Will be hoping Bama pulls it off, but also hoping that it's a difficult, exciting, edge of the seat, close fought slugfest that's not decided until the fourth quarter or overtime.

Is that the kind of game that you like to see Oregon in? I was also completely relaxed on the Saturday Bama had a Bye prior to LSU.

As for me I would like to see a Bama win like it's win this year against aTm! My heart may not take another game like last week! During the Bama vs aTm game I was able to relax after the 3rd quarter. I didn't think by the beginning of the 4th quarter that aTm could score more than 52 points in that game so I did lean back in a recliner with a good drink!

I know exactly what you mean. I like the games where my team gets out to a comfortable, safe lead and cruises the entire way. But I know all other college football fans watching want the opposite to happen in order for it to be entertaining.

I see Bama having an LSU hangover in the first half; but MSU not being able to fully capitalize. We go into the fourth either tied or very close. The pressure of the situation, the home crowd (no cowbell advantage for MSU), Bama's big game experience advantage and the combination of a suspect MSU secondary and a superior Amari Cooper are just too much for MSU to handle in the end and Bama pulls away 35-24.

I hope their is a hang over from last week's game; a positive one. Hope the D and O pick up right where they left off against LSU. Knowing what they can do when they execute. Grab that and keep it going against MS and don't look back. RTR.

Appears MState is good for three quick strikes, maybe one long drive, and a quick score from a turn over. That's 35 points.
With such a porous secondary, I hope we're good for four passing touchdowns, two field goals, and a defensive score, for 41 points.
41-35, the good guys!

That's too many points to give up! I hope we can hold them to no more that 14, maybe 17 at most! My biggest hope would be a shutout! Here's hoping we put up at least 41! We need to send a BOLD statement to that subjective committee!

Clear sky tomorrow with temps from 52 or 53 degrees at 2:00 p.m. to 44 degrees at 6:00 p.m. in T-town. I failed to check the wind factor.

How will this affect the game for 1st half and 2nd half when about 10 degrees cooler? Will anybody be sweating? Does this have an effect on QB's throwing or RB's fumbling or WR's catching the ball? How does colder temperatures affect movement and mobility/flexibility? If a player has to come off the bench, are they ready to participate with 100% effectiveness?

I think 60 to 65 degrees would be good temperatures for a game. Colder is too cold for me.

If I were a player, I would not want to play in Green Bay in the shivering winter. The game that comes to mind is the Green Bay vs Dallas game many moons ago when Bart Starr was QB. I would have called in sick.

My head says a close win 27-20, so that's my official call. But I wouldn't be surprised to see us ambush them in a 38-14 blowout. I think we're feeling it now and want to make a statement in every game from here on out.
I think your head was about right. Closest one I've seen. Good job.
