If it is UGA they will have had their rear handed to them twice in the GA Dome in the same season.
You like to talk a lot smack dont you bamacon?? Fortunately most of the other posters here dont. Its nice and refreshing to come to a board where the smack is kept to a minimum.
Florida has the best talent in the division, but they won't win too many conference games with the QB situation in flux.
Georiga is playing much better football right now, particularly on defense. But they've faced three middling conference opponents with very little depth. Florida and Auburn will test them.
South Carolina is the enigma of the group. They've got the most experienced team and I think they're the most capable of the three. But they've been a real head case so far and I don't think we can take too much from the Kentucky game. The 2011 edition of UK is probably the worst SEC team I've seen in my lifetime (although I think 2003 MSU came pretty close). I can't see South Carolina beating Arkansas on the road, even if Connor Shaw continues to play well. So ironically enough, I think USC is depending on UGA to lose another conference game.
My pick right now would be Georgia, because the timing of the remainder of their schedule sets up nicely. They could end up 7-1 in conference play and still be a fairly middle-of-the-road team.

I don't think it will much matter who it is .. just padding for whoever wins the west. I went with USCe though.

I voted USCe mainly because they control their own fate. UGA is gonna have to count on someone else beating USC. The only game USCe may lose is the road game at Arky...but ya never know from week to week which USC team will show up. They may win the rest of their games, or they may lose 'em all.

If it was based on talent alone I would say for sure that we would be representing the east. Im fairly confident we can take care of business against auburn. We have the most talent in our division but weve gotta put it all together against florida. As long as we stay healthy we should be able to get back to the dome but we will not be able to beat alabama. Honestly I dont think anybody else will beat you guys this year either. That the most dominating defense ive seen in a long time.
Think I'll give Georgia the nod. They are on a roll right now and I think UCSe with Kentucky was just an anomaly. I think they will struggle the rest of the season.
Dawgs. I wouldn't mind seeing Murray and AJ dueling in that game. Kind of a throw back to Barker and Zeier.
I picked Vandy, not so much 'cause I really think they would win but I want them to win. One of my favorite memories of a Vandy game was playing them there and I looked in the stands and there was this huge sign that said "Thanks for beating Tennessee". Won my heart right there.
Exactly. LS Who? Nah I don't mean that but I have faith that my team will prevail Nov 5 and be in Atl in December.
Can I change my pick? I thought SC would prevail, but now that Lattimore is out for the year, it looks as if GA will win the East.
