OK, so we are all waiting for the bowl games to start and in an effort to kill sometime I thought that I would put together my All-Time Alabama football team. Let me know what you think and please reply with your own All-Time Alabama team, it is interesting to see what other Bama fans are thinking.

I don't think you can drop Sly if you're basing this on his playing career. Also, I think I would add Major Ogilvie to the RB list.

No way Prothro is at the top. Should easily be behind DJ Hall.

Very well researched list, btw. But many others could be changed too, including Lee Roy ahead of Demeco.

Pretty good work for just passing time! I'd have to move Shaun up to atleast #2 @ rb. I remember watching Musso. And Don Hutson/Ozzie Newsome should probably be 1/1A, but I'm not attempting to pick the best one!

You have Nick Saban as Head of Football Operations / Recruiting Coordinator, but he's never held that job. It's an absolute no brainer to have Bear ahead of him, but for an all time Alabama team, you can't really demote him either.

You really cant take any of those guys off the team.1 guy i'd like to add would be Jay Barker but you would have to drop Trammell,Namath,or the Snake and you just cant do that.Such a tough call.It would be interseting to see a decade by decade team for Bama.

I agree, Tommy. Shouldn't Wallace Wade & Hank Crisp be part of the coaching staff, for example?
