If I'm HF I'd think long and hard about attaching myself to a HC who cannot keep his hands off the offense. Especially one already on such thin ice.
Apparently, Hugh is in major consideration at Liberty since Turner Gill retired today.

It appears that Gus will remain on the Plains.

To me, that proves without a shadow of a doubt that the money was NOT there to dump Gus... :cool2:

I also believe that they did not have any big name coach that was even remotely interested in that train wreck of a program.
The second, more than likely.
The former - said this before, don’t kid yourself. If they had not snuck past A&M he would be gone.

Something tells me that Hugh yearns to coach and walk the sidelines in Dixie again. I still think he ultimately ends up back in the SEC at some point.

I'd just like to jump in here and say that if Kelly Bryant signs at Auburn for next year, the NCAA needs to go on ahead and park a trailer down there and start digging. Why someone would go there before official word that the 2 year starter won't be coming back, and all the mess with the head coach down there and administration, is beyond my reasonable thinking ability.

It looks like Stidham is leaving...https://www.cbssports.com/college-f...jarrett-stidham-reportedly-plans-to-turn-pro/

I will be surprised at this point if Bryant doesn't choose Auburn.

And; no idea who the O.C. will be.

Give me ambiguity or give me something else.

Bryant has a skillset tailor made for the Malzahn offense, and he's the presumptive starter the minute he steps on campus.

The trend continues of ole Gus not being able to develop QB's. Out almost every QB he has had, only ones that have transferred in have had above average success. Those even seem to regress over the course of their tenures on the plains. I wonder how hard he goes after Hurts
