Play AU with or without Cam?

Since this is the biggest story right now in the SEC, probably the college football world, and definitely on this board, which is it bama fans???

IF the allegations are true, would you:

A. Want to play AU with Cam in the game, so if you win, you beat the complete team that is currently undefeated?

B. Want to play AU without Cam, giving you your best chance to win, but knowing the whole college football world will scream, if you win, you only won due to Cam's absence?

I know if we win Saturday, and if AU wins out, I want Cam on that field in Atlanta. Yeah, we may get owned, but if we win, we did it with the biggest reason why AU was even in Atlanta on the field!!!!
 
I want to play him, it's almost impossible we make a BCS game, so Auburn is the biggest game left, bowl included, and I want to take them down with all their force. ESPN darling and Heisman favorite included.

Can't worry about what we can't control. Refuse to spend time fretting over whether he will play or not. Would rather beat the Barn with Cam playing. Bring him on.
 
Gatorfan - I agree, while AU probably wouldn't be successful without Cam and I feel that Alabama would have a much greater chance of beating them, I still have to say I want Alabama to beat Cam(AU). Put him on the field and go beat him. Whether that can be done... just don't know
 
I want Bama to play AU with Cam. Heard enough crying from the masses over Colt McCoy- don't particularly want to hear the boogs crying over Newton being declared ineligible.
 
I want Bama to beat Auburn anytime we play them. I think Bama's chances of winning the game are much more likely if Cam doesn't play. There's my answer.:wink:

I don't care one way or the other seeing how our National Championship doesn't count because Colt didn't play the whole game.;) If/when we win they will make an excuse no matter what, those dang refs are always out to get them.

Edit: Didn't mean to quote CJ I had a brain fart for a moment.
 
Want Cam on the field....it will make the beat down sting even worse. Playing a team as talented as us with nothing left to lose is the last thing the BArN wants and what do you know that is what the BaRn has last on its schedule.
 
First and foremost, I want the win.

But win or lose, I want it to be a fair match. Part of your premise is that the allegations are all true. If so, Auburn has and would be playing with an unfair advantage with Cam in. It's against the rules. It shouldn't be allowable. What if they had been playing with 12 men on the field so far this season? Should we want them to bring 12 against our 11 since that's how they would've been playing so far? Can we sub in the Baltimore Ravens? They're no less eligible than Cam Newton.

No. Under your premise, they're not just mildly breaking the rules with Cam - it's egregious, flagrant, and gives them an unfair advantage. So I don't care what excuses they have or give.

Texas and many others still say Bama wouldn't have won if Colt had stayed in the game. Simple fact is we played them fair and square and Colt was either too fragile or his line couldn't protect him. We won. Fair and square. They can have their excuses.

Under your premise, Cam shouldn't be playing. It's as simple as that. I'd rather the entire football world give illegitimate excuses for our beating Auburn than for some of our fans to have legitimate excuses for losing to them. I've got no problems with beating a Camless Auburn. Let 'em whine.

I want to beat cAmU, but "if" he were to be suspended this week (long shot), then UGA would have a great shot at beating Aubie thus giving us hope to get back to Atlanta. Of course we have to win out and LSU would have to lose to Arky (very possible), but it would give us the best chance and I would take that in a heartbeat. I think it would be fun to beat the Gators......again. ;)

But I don't really care, I just want to beat the living day lights out of the war chickens. They could run their swim team out there for all I care. rtr
